The Trust worked with Hydrogeneration of Devon to develop a water mill/micro-hydro power project in the Blackdown Hills.  STSD acted as a fund holder for the project and link with Blackdown Hills Leader+ project.

Community Choices for Sustainable Living

CCSL was set up to advise and inspire people to make sustainable lifestyle changes. Ecos Trust through funding from DEFRA (Environmental Action Fund)  was able to support over 30 groups in Dorset, Devon and Somerset with interests such as organic allotments, community wind power, greening the home, solar power, car pools, community composting, car-sharing, community recycling and 'free' cycling
